Well, here it is. My interview with Steph Jones aided by Paul the Engineer. Schaffner and Johnson had prior commitments, so we sat down and chatted with the rising star, Steph Jones. If you haven’t checked him out by now, as per my advice, then you are slow on the take. Don’t worry, though. We play two of his songs so you can get a feel for him.
We had a great time talking with Steph and hope he comes back on from time to time.

Hey Matt, and hey Steph–great interview. I, too, can’t get Mr. Ordinary out of my head. I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there to talk with you both, but I was working in NOVA, bringing home the bacon–cause Mama’s gotta eat! Speaking of which, if I’m ever in Texas, Steph, I want to try your mama’s cooking! Steph, you’re hot and very cool–I like your vibe and your voice. And I think you’re a very talented model. Being model gorgeous myself, I know that it’s not all about looks! : ) I’m a singer too and I really appreciate the flow and control of your voice! You and Matt have a lot in common-you’re funny, talented, creative, and you hate everything! I’m proud of you both for keepin it real, despite anyone telling you to “shut up” or “stick to modeling”. Steph, I hope to meet you soon, and matt, see you next week.

Sounds nice, Sno. Don’t know when I will interview him again. I told him he’s welcome to come on any time he wants. Even if it’s just to goof around. I know I will ask for an interview when his album finally comes out.

Really great interview Matt! THANK YOU SNO FOR SENDING IT TO ME! It seems like such and underestimation to call Steph “up and coming”. He is staying so close to the fans (or FRANDS as he calls them) that it makes people WANT to spred the word about him. He really has not forgotten the little people. It is so refreshing to find a REAL person putting REAL music out and not the typical over-produced type of stuff that is in the mainstream lately. Thanks for this great interview with the future of music Matt!

Thank you Matt for this wonderful interview, it is greatly appreciated! This coming May would make a year that I’ve been down with the Steph Jones Movement. It’s refreshing to find a musician who is not only down to earth, orginial and hard working, but, actually TALENTED!! There’s nothing like going to Steph’s page while he’s on a live web cam; becuase of the anticipation that you’ll hear great music that could make your gray skies blue. I can’t wait for the day that I’m able to pick up my copy of “Mr. Ordinary”. Thus far, I honestly can’t say that I didn’t like any of the songs I have heard. (Well, except from Ms. Pacman. LOL) Like my friend said every song is different; and that is what I love about Steph. The originiality . Steph’s FRANDS are people from different backgrounds and communities who are connected by the sound of his voice. Usually, I do not like to speak on behalf of othes, but I can say that we really enjoy Steph’s music and want to see him excel. I’m honored to be a Steph Jones Frand, and in the end I think he’ll be one of the legends.

I feel Steph Jones’s passion. Happiness is offering who you are to the world and knowing its enough. Diversity and difference is what Steph Jones Stands for which puts him in a unique position and naturally creates a likability, his music most importantly is captivating. Steph Jones…WOW…I still remember how I found him…He was on Jordin’s (Sparks) top friends on her myspace and I was like “Damn,he’s so cute,I want him to be one of my friends!!!”…I didn’t know who is Steph Jones,I just knew that he is so sexy,lol…Then I checked his myspace……!!
I loved his music,I met some cool people there (like eyes,Nat,Tiff,Sno…lol)…I was curious who is Steph Jones…=)
So I checked his youtube videos(I love them,so funny and so optimistic..=)) and then I realized that I never saw a singer like him…He is so real,he talks to his friends(”frands”),he makes great music…Can’t believe that there is somebody like him!!
